Famous people who don’t believe in evolution

According to a May 2007 Gallup poll, 49% of Americans believe in evolution, 48% do not and 2% have no opinion. Still, I find it startling every time I hear about another person who doesn’t. Evidently I’m wrestling with my own issues of mulish blockheadedness. Anyway, although hearing about ordinary people who don’t believe in evolution makes me die inside, finding out about famous people who don’t believe in evolution is entertaining. So let’s start a list.

Hmm. I guess that fame does not necessarily come with sense. Most of the people you have listed I don’t particularly respect for other reasons (just how sane can Mel Gibson be?) By the way, I love that Coulter is described as a maniac, rather than a pundit.
Anyway, I am so much more concerned about people I know and like and generally respect who do not believe in evolution - particularly when they are professional colleagues of mine who affect the minds of children. Then it’s downright scary.
